Argon Corporation Selected to Provide C-17 Support Equipment Computers to The Boeing Company

Great Neck, New York – Argon Corporation has been selected by The Boeing Company, Long Beach, California to provide a powerful, integrated rugged workstation/laptop for use as a computing workstation or Support Equipment Computer (SEC), for the C-17 program in support of flight line testing and other activities. The RWS15 is now in production at our new facility in Atlanta and we expect this project to continue through FY12.

Argon Corporation Expanding Operations in the Atlanta Ga. Metro Area

Great Neck, New York - Argon Corporation, in fulfillment of its growth strategy has signed a lease for a new facility in the greater Atlanta area. Over the last 1.5 years, Argon has been positioning itself to evolve from a low volume boutique defense business to an enterprise capable of delivering large quantities of high quality, lower cost rugged display and computers to the Defense and Homeland Defense market space. The new facility is located at 1225 Old Alpharetta Road, Alpharetta, Georgia and will initially be 11,000 ft2 dedicated to the manufacture and delivery of Argon products. The design and prototyping will remain at our Great Neck, New York facility, where we have a seasoned and successful development team. We wish to thank all of our customers for their trust and support of Argon over the years, for without whom we would not be expanding.
Argon Corporation Selected to Provide Workstation/Laptop Solution for Aguilar Aerospace

Great Neck, New York -Argon Corporation has been selected by Aguilar Aerospace, Madrid Spain to provide a rugged workstation/laptop with a 15" display. Aguilar will be using the workstation as Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for data acquisition in harsh environments like particle accelerators and for test data acquisition in the field under rain, fog and other extreme conditions from hot zones of south of Spain to freezing northern European fields. Argon was able to tailor their solution to meet the exact needs of the Aguilar application.
Argon Corporation Selected to Provide Hand Held Displays (HHD) for Ground Soldier Ensemble (GSE) Program

Great Neck, New York –Argon Corporation has been selected by General Dynamics C4 Systems, Scottsdale, Arizona, to provide the Hand Held Display (HHD) for the Ground Soldier Ensemble (GSE) program that was awarded to General Dynamics and two other contractors in April 2009. This multi-year program will bring increased situational awareness lower down the echelon to increase mission effectiveness and soldier survivability.

WALLINGFORD, CT., February 23, 2009 - Ultra MSI has selected Argon Corporation to provide a 5inch LCD display for its rugged, dual handled, patented (#D533,142S and #7471216) Freedom of Movement Control Unit (FMCUT). Having a shape and feel that is very familiar to today's video game controllers, the FMCU allows for easy transition for today's generation of soldiers to the efficient operation of both manned and unmanned military vehicles and equipment. The FMCU is being field tested and demonstrated in a number of mission-critical situations, including battlefield applications as unmanned vehicles and remote weapon systems.
