Wearable Infantry Soldier Computer
The WISC system consists of a rugged wearable computer, a wearable display, and an array of optional accessories.
WISC Computer
Has all of the functionality and power of a desktop computer in the footprint of a Rugged PDA, the WISC computer uses a powerful 1GHz Intel CPU with up to 1GB of RAM. The WISC Computer offers many advantages over a PDA including greater processing power which can be used to process images in the field and number of other tasks that PDA's can't handle. It runs full versions of popular operating systems including Windows 2000, Windows XP and LINUX.
The WISC has a wide array of input and output capabilities including:
- Live, real time video input from a camera, IR or other sensors.
- Communications interfaces: USB 2.0, RS232 and RS422
- 10/100 Base T Ethernet.
- Audio In and Out.

- Built-in rechargeable backup battery allows more than 30 minutes of operation without external power
